Job summary

ARC, located in Greer, SC, is seeking a full-time first shift Shop Technician to support growing customer demand in aerospace repairs. This entry-level role focuses on learning and performing repairs under supervision to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The position requires high school diploma or equivalent, familiarity with electrical and mechanical test equipment, and strong teamwork. Overtime and lifting up to 25 pounds may be required in a climate-controlled shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing shop environment is preferred.
• Must be familiar with and comfortable operating electrical and mechanical test equipment.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to troubleshoot technical processes.
• Good reading/writing and verbal communication in English.
• Must be able to function well in a team.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Overtime may be required based on shop workload.
• Punctual and regular attendance is required.
• Must comply with DOT drug and alcohol policy.
• This is an entry level position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct repairs on aerospace components and assemblies.
• Disassemble and rebuild aerospace components and assemblies using light hand tools.
• Test assemblies using electronic and mechanical test equipment.
• Dimensional inspection of aerospace components against blueprints using calipers, micrometers, height gauges and CMM.
• Process parts according to company quality system documentation.
