Job summary

Applied Aerospace & Defense, Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Santa Ana, CA. You will receive raw materials, parts, and outside-processed items, inspect and document shipments, and ship finished goods to OEM customers.

Training will be provided for quality and compliance standards. Pay range is $24.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience. Candidates should have 2+ years in shipping/receiving and proficiency with ERP systems and carrier portals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse or logistics experience.
• Experience using an ERP or warehouse management system to record transactions.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and web-based carrier portals.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with part numbers, quantities and paperwork.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of materials and outside-processed parts.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, revision levels and lot/heat numbers against orders.
• Record receipts accurately in the ERP system; identify shortages, damage, or discrepancies.
• Package and ship finished goods and parts to customers and outside processors; prepare shipping docs.
• Ensure compliance with export control and ITAR procedures; handle hazardous materials per rules.
• Communicate delivery status and issues to Purchasing, Production Control, Quality, and Finance.
