Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking a Shipping & Materials Specialist to organize, document, and prepare castings and other materials for shipment. You will verify paperwork, handle materials safely, and ensure cross-border shipments between the United States and Mexico are compliant.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A commitment to accuracy when handling materials, documentation, and shipping requirements.
• Team-oriented mindset with willingness to collaborate across departments.
• Familiarity with customs requirements and shipping documentation, especially for U.S./Mexico cross-border shipments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments by organizing castings, packing materials, test results, travelers, and instructions.
• Verify shipping paperwork and complete travelers per procedures.
• Load castings into shipping containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hoists.
• Inspect finished work to ensure materials meet company policies and quality requirements.
• Maintain documentation for material transfers and manage surplus materials.
• Assist with cross-border customs documentation for shipments between the U.S. and Mexico.
• Review quality trends and identify opportunities to reduce waste and costs.
• Access QMS portal for required training.
• Collaborate with assistants, senior technicians, and office staff to keep shipments on schedule.
