Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client, a leading aerospace component manufacturer, seeks a Senior Buyer to support engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance teams in Aurora, OR.

You will manage procurement of sheet metal, aluminum products, and other raw materials, negotiate terms with suppliers, and drive purchasing activities in a fast-paced environment. The role offers potential contract-to-hire and a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of buyer/procurement experience in manufacturing.
• ERP experience, preferably SISPRO or similar systems.
• Experience buying sheet metal, aluminum products, and raw materials.
• Strong communication skills for engineering partnership.
• Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials supporting Army Wing Kit production in a manufacturing environment.
• Manage procurement of sheet metal, aluminum products, and raw materials.
• Issue and manage purchase orders based on material demand signals.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, MOQ, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Oversee RTV (Return to Vendor) processes and partner with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
