Keystone Distinction Group seeks an experienced Repair Engineer in Chula Vista, CA to develop and approve structural repairs for nacelle components and support aerospace MRO requirements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on repair development experience, strong technical writing, and the ability to work independently with customers and engineers. This role requires collaboration with engine manufacturers and airframers and will involve guidance to junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering solutions and repair instructions for aerospace nacelle components.
• ,
• Develop and approve repair concepts and allowable damage limits for SRM applications.
• Work with production engineering to evaluate design changes and their impact on maintenance.
• Support SRM, CMM, and AMM documentation.
• Collaborate with engine manufacturers, airframers, and customers on complex issues.
• Prepare engineering repair packages for SRM/CMM and submissions.
• Serve as technical contact for internal and external customers.
• Communicate recommendations to customers and management.
• Manage multiple repair assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Support standardization and process improvements to speed repairs.
