Insight Global is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for roles in Costa Mesa, CA, Quincy, MA, or Quonset, RI. The position is a 6-month contract to hire with compensation ranging from $140/hr to $190/hr.

The role covers reliability across design, production, and field performance with cross‑functional collaboration. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in reliability, a relevant engineering BS, and experience with MIL-STD standards and safety-critical systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Reliability Engineer, Design/Development, or Test Engineer.
• BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace or Systems Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with safety-critical hardware and software in defense/aerospace.
• Familiar with MIL-STD-810, MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-516C, MIL-STD-1629.
• Able to establish a Reliability Engineering framework across production and field testing.
• Expertise in FMEA/FMECA, Weibull analysis, and Fault Tree Analysis.
• Ability to present to leadership during reviews (PDR/CDR).
• Eligibility to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform predictive reliability analysis and FMEAs for products.
• Develop qualification and production test plans to validate designs.
• Lead root-cause investigations from factory and field incidents.
• Drive continuous design and process improvements across teams.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing teams.
