Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the plant's quality assurance and control initiatives, ensuring aerospace standards and regulatory compliance. The role drives continuous improvement, mentors a QA team, and partners with supply chain to elevate supplier quality and performance across operations.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in quality management, leadership experience, and expertise in QMS compliance with AS9100/NADCAP/AS13100, plus Six Sigma credentials.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing QMS per AS9100, NADCAP, AS13100.
• 5–7 years in quality management with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Strong problem-solving with structured methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead QMS implementation and maintenance compliant with AS9100/AS13100.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing quality team.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce defects and enhance processes.
• Lead RCA using 8D methodologies and implement corrective actions.
• Manage audits and ensure documentation meets regulatory and customer needs.
• Coordinate supplier quality improvements and audits.
• Provide performance reports to senior leadership with KPI trends.
