Job summary

Alinabal, LLC in Milford, CT seeks a Designated Quality Representative (DQR) to act as the primary quality liaison with aerospace customers, ensuring products, inspection activities, and documentation meet requirements and standards.

The DQR will perform first-piece, in-process, final, receiving, source, and FAI inspections, coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Production and customers to resolve issues, and ensure conformance and traceability.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• 3–5 years in aerospace manufacturing, quality, or inspection.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality requirements.
• Familiarity with FAI/FAIR and inspection documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Quality point of contact for aerospace customers.
• Review PO, drawings, specs, quality clauses to ensure proper implementation.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, final, receiving, and source inspections.
• Verify conformity using CMMs, vision systems, gauges and tools.
• Prepare and coordinate FAI/FAIR per AS9102 and customer requirements.
• Review certifications and inspection records for accuracy and traceability.
• Ensure quality documentation is complete prior to shipment.
• Identify nonconforming product; support MRB and corrective actions.
• Coordinate customer source inspections, audits, and visits.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce scrap and delays.
