Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or HS Diploma with vocational technical training.
• 2-5 years shipping/receiving inspection experience or FAA licensing.
• Certification personnel or equivalent military experience.
• 3 years aerospace quality inspection experience (civilian or military).
• Experience with FAA/TA CC/regulatory requirements (FAA/TCCA/EASA).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming purchased parts, articles, materials, and documentation to requirements of technical data and purchase orders.
• Inspect outgoing parts, articles, materials, and documentation to export shipping orders and FAA requirements.
• Inspect receipt of raw materials and components for visual damage and compliance with PO and engineering specs.
• Inspect export of materials for compliance with FAA/TCCA/EASA and engineering specs as FAA designated inspector.
• Track and maintain accurate shipping/receiving inventory and inspection results in databases and filing systems.
• Document discrepancies and coordinate resolution with Production, Methods, Engineering, MRB as appropriate.
