Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous quality inspection work in a machine shop/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to define and communicate non‑conformances verbally and in writing to leadership, vendors, and customers.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications for machined parts from sheet metal and other components.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment and tools (calipers, height gage, indicators, optical devices, micrometers, CMM, Faro Arm, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications and other internal documents.
• Inspect all incoming materials to verify conformance to applicable documents.
• Perform dimensional inspection of manufactured components, including first article and final inspection.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications and conducting measurements.
• Complete AS9102 documents and other required documentation.
• Maintain calibration and upkeep of inspection equipment.
• Report inspection results and manage non-conformances for production components and suppliers.
