You will inspect, document, and report results using precision measuring tools and follow a defined inspection sequence to ensure quality before production proceeds. This hands-on role requires careful attention to detail, tolerance understanding, and collaboration with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform precision measurements.
• Willingness to work with engineering and management.
• Flexible to different shifts and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Make sure castings are clean and ready for inspection.
• Verify paperwork and match it to each casting.
• Use precision tools — micrometers, calipers, indicators, and more.
• Follow a clear inspection order to check all required dimensions.
• Mark castings and complete inspection tags and documentation.
• Communicate results clearly to production and engineering teams.
• Follow all safety rules and operate tools responsibly.
• Support additional tasks as needed to keep production moving.
