Job summary

Fastenal Company’s aerospace distribution facility in Duluth, MN is seeking a full-time Aerospace Quality Inspector. The role involves inspecting aerospace products, kitting parts to spec, and assisting sales/quality personnel in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will manage inventory, place and fulfill orders, handle incoming/outgoing shipments, and occasionally perform deliveries in a company vehicle. The position requires lifting up to 100 lbs and adherence to EH&S standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient with Microsoft Office
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed
• Highly motivated, self-directed, customer-service oriented

• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, up to 100 lbs in some cases
• Must meet requirements to handle CUI/ITAR products and pass drug screen

This position will provide assistance to our customers from our aerospace distribution facility located at 4425 Venture Ave, Duluth, MN 55811.

RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Work independently as well as in a team environment

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this position is $35,000 - 45,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
