RTX is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern to join the Ejection and Propulsion department in Fairfield, CA. You will gain hands-on experience developing and maintaining high-quality engineering processes and products while collaborating with engineers in a dynamic environment.

Internship requires enrollment in Mechanical/Industrial/Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering and includes exposure to defect reduction, root-cause analysis, and process improvements using CI tools, with potential for

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering degree through the duration of the internship.
• Experience with inspection tooling and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Supporting defect reduction initiatives through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Collaborating with Quality Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers on manufacturing and inspection activities.
• Implementing process improvements using continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
• Applying engineering principles to support quality assurance activities.
