Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Quality Analyst (Sr. Principal) to join our Mission Assurance team at Edwards AFB, CA.

This role focuses on developing and implementing quality plans, ensuring conformity to standards, and leading investigations into discrepancies across aerospace systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with manufacturing and engineering, drive corrective actions, and maintain active government clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with experience in quality assurance or related field.
• Active U.S. Government clearance and ability to maintain.
• Flight Release Certification and Flightline experience preferred.
• Experience with RCCA and corrective/preventive actions in aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control and lean/Six Sigma.
• Ensure products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
• Review, analyze, and report on quality discrepancies in aerospace systems.
• Investigate problems and develop dispositions and corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
