Qualifications

• 2–8 years of inspection experience in aerospace or similar manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and dimensional inspection.
• Ability to interpret operation sheets, PO, specs, and certifications.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process and finished products with visual and dimensional measurements per specs.
• Review POs, operation sheets, blueprints, and certifications to verify parts meet requirements.
• Perform complex dimensional layout inspections from drawings.
• Apply GD&T to evaluate part conformity.
• Complete Inspection Method Sheets and maintain accurate records.
• Verify special process certifications against part specs.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and FAIs.
• Identify nonconforming materials and communicate findings.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to address issues.
