Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires 3-axis CNC milling proficiency with 5-axis exposure.
• CAD/CAM programming using Mastercam; 2–3 years experience.
• Solid GD&T reading and ability to self-inspect parts.
• Experience with ESD protocols for flight hardware handling.
• Ability to train and assist less experienced machinists.
• Strong problem-solving with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3–5 axis CNC machines to produce complex components.
• Manufacture high-precision parts to tight tolerances.
• Follow established process plans and machining estimates.
• Manage multiple CNC resources to optimize shop throughput.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and PMs.
• Mentor junior machinists and ensure safe shop practices.
• Contribute to productivity improvements and cycle-time reductions.
