Job summary

Scaled Composites, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning and execution of complex aerospace programs in Mojave, CA. You will develop schedules, manage budgets, and ensure on-time delivery while coordinating with Contracts and engineering teams.

The role requires DoD Secret Clearance, strong earned value capabilities, and experience with MS Project and SAP within aerospace or defense contexts. Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Six years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or four years with a master’s degree.
• Proven MS Project scheduling experience (creating, updating, analyzing complex schedules).
• Experience working in a SAP environment.
• Ability to see the whole picture and manage cost and schedule constraints.
• Excellent organizational skills and data analysis abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop an earned value reporting process to meet program requirements.
• Develop and maintain production schedules for complex aerospace systems.
• Ensure alignment between manufacturing capacity and program timelines.
• Support bids and proposals with accurate cost estimates.
• Track actual costs vs. planned costs and identify variances.
• Forecast labor, material, and equipment needs based on program requirements.
• Communicate project health to Management and external customers.
