Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Stafford, VA (100% on-site) seeks a highly analytical Production Planner to convert demand, materials, ERP data, and capacity into actionable schedules. You’ll partner with manufacturing, procurement, inventory, engineering, and quality to improve readiness, reporting, and delivery performance.

Requirements include 2+ years in production planning with MRP, advanced Excel, ERP experience, and a Bachelor's in Engineering. U.S.

Qualifications

2+ years in production planning, MRP, and scheduling in an assembly environment.
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, formulas.
ERP experience with MRP and scheduling concepts.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (manufacturing, industrial, electrical, mechanical or related).
Strong analytical accuracy and cross-functional communication.
Experience in Aerospace/Defense or heavily regulated industries.
Power BI familiarity; MS Dynamics/ERP experience preferred.
Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder eligible for clearance.

Responsibilities

Own production schedules aligned with orders, forecasts, inventory, and capacity.
Prepare dashboards and reports for planning, capacity, procurement, and inventory decisions.
Create and monitor ERP work orders and schedule attainment.
Identify material shortages and coordinate recovery with Procurement, Inventory, Production, Engineering, and Quality.
Maintain BOMs, routings, planning parameters, and monitor usage and order performance.
Resolve cross-functional scheduling issues adhering to procedures.
