Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented Production Planner for an on‑site role in Stafford, VA.

You will turn customer demand, material availability, ERP data, and capacity into executable schedules to improve readiness, delivery performance, and collaboration with manufacturing, procurement, inventory, engineering, and quality. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in production planning, strong Excel and ERP/MRP skills, and a background in electro‑mechanical assembly or regulated

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production planning, MRP, and scheduling in an assembly-line operation (electro-mechanical)
• Advanced Excel: pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis for production/inventory
• ERP experience with strong understanding of MRP and production scheduling
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (manufacturing, industrial, electrical, mechanical or similar)
• Strong analytical accuracy, organization, and cross-functional communication
• Experience in Aerospace/Defense or other highly regulated industries (e.g., med dev, automotive)
• Familiar with Power BI
• Experience in Microsoft Business Central or Dynamics preferred
• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder with ability to obtain clearance after hire

Responsabilités

• Own production schedules aligned with customer orders, forecasts, inventory, material readiness, and capacity.
• Prepare dashboards and reports for production planning, capacity, procurement, and inventory decisions.
• Create, release, maintain, and monitor ERP manufacturing work orders and schedule attainment.
• Identify material shortages and coordinate recovery plans with Procurement, Inventory, Production, Engineering, and Quality.
• Maintain BOMs, routings, and planning parameters; monitor consumption, output, and order performance.
• Resolve cross-functional scheduling and production issues while adhering to planning and operational procedures.
