Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Production Coordinator to support the Supply Chain team in delivering components, assemblies, and products on time. The role involves monitoring parts, coordinating with planning, procurement, engineering, and production to maintain data integrity and optimize logistics in a high-stakes aerospace environment.

The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to adapt to multiple shifts while ensuring adherence to SpaceX specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, or operations experience.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environment is preferred.
• APICS certification, PMP, Six Sigma, or relevant aerospace/manufacturing certifications is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create inventory requests based on production work orders and replacement parts.
• Monitor, track, and move parts through the company for timely delivery.
• Handle physical movement of parts across receiving inspection, stock rooms, purchasing, production resources, or work centers.
• Verify received materials for conformity, damage, part numbers, quantity, and revisions before releasing work orders.
• Maintain production schedules via planning and shortage management.
