Collins Aerospace in Jamestown, ND, is seeking a Process Technician II for an onsite role on a state-of-the-art anodize line. Responsibilities include chemical processing of aircraft parts, hazardous waste disposal, and strict adherence to customer specifications and international standards.

Requires a HS diploma or GED and 1 year of relevant experience; process technician experience preferred. You will work 6:00 AM–4:30 PM Monday–Thursday on the new $18M automated line, handling documentation

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED in the US) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred: process technician experience.
• Must be able to interpret part drawings and follow work instructions.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for the chemical processing of detailed parts and final assemblies to current spec requirements.
• Be well informed about the disposal of Hazardous Waste.
• Be aware and informed of the Chemicals you work with throughout the day.
• Be knowledgeable of all pertinent customer/company specifications and international standards relating to standards, finishes, special processes, policies, processing, etc.
• Capable of processing acceptable parts and passing all required evaluations for some of the required processes.
• Proper documentation of the process of parts to meet customer requirements.
• Demonstrate a continued interest in good housekeeping and safety practices.
• Demonstrate ability to work under a minimal amount of direction for the area supervisor/team coordinator.
