Job summary

Howmet Aerospace seeks a Process Team Control Operator at the Dover Alloy plant in Dover, New Jersey. The Afternoon Shift runs Monday–Friday, 2 PM–10:30 PM, with initial training 6 AM–2:30 PM for several weeks.

Starting hourly rate is $25.66, increasing to $28.31 after 12 months, plus a shift premium when off shift. Responsibilities include ensuring heats meet specs, following process instructions, and performing preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• ITAR US person status required (U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, asylum/refugee).
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Within 50 miles of Dover, NJ is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
• Ability to work flexible hours including night and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow process instructions.
• Process heats to customer specification.
• Perform basic maintenance and operate equipment per procedures.
• Position requires use of overhead cranes and manipulation of heavy tubes.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping per EH&S policies.
