Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. in Mentor, OH, is seeking an Entry Level Power Wash Technician for the Chemical Process Line. The role cleans and prepares aerospace components using high-pressure wash systems to meet cleanliness standards before inspection and assembly.

We provide extensive in-house training, combining computer-based and hands-on instruction to build the necessary skills. Pre-employment testing may apply, and opportunities exist for growth within a global aerospace MRO

Qualifications

• Some work experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.
• Knowledge of machines, equipment, and workplace safety.
• Ability or experience following directions and reading work instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members, including adapting to a structured training program.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Operate power wash equipment to clean turbine frames, engine cases, and other aerospace parts.
• Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols for each component type.
• Inspect parts before and after washing to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness.
• Communicate any issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Routinely use overhead cranes during the process.
• Communicate all work-related problems with supervisors or other departments promptly.
