Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field; physics, engineering, chemistry or related.
  • Lab experience required.
  • ISO familiarity required.
  • Auditing experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, decision making, and problem solving skills required.
  • Technical writing skills required.
  • Experience with 5S practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage multiple projects with timelines and customer requirements.
  • Design tests to characterize polymer properties for material development.
  • Design and perform data analysis.
  • Prepare, implement, and interpret test requirements per ASTM and industry specs.
  • Perform benchmarking with other labs to verify accreditation.
  • Write technical reports and presentations.
  • Audit aerospace labs to improve efficiency and reliability (ISO17025).
  • Harmonize processes and test reports across locations.
  • Expand accreditation scope as needed for aerospace testing.
  • Manage the Qualified Material List across Trelleborg sites.
