Job summary

Sherwood Aviation is seeking a Pneumatics Technician to join our team in the United States. You will inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul aircraft pneumatic components in accordance with FAA regulations and our quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working with aircraft pneumatic systems in a fast-paced aviation repair environment. FAA A&P is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in aviation maintenance or pneumatic component repair preferred.
• FAA Part 145 repair station experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul and reassemble aircraft pneumatic components.
• Perform functional testing using approved equipment and procedures.
• Identify defects and determine repairs or replacements.
• Read Component Maintenance Manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Follow FAA regulations, manufacturer specs and company procedures.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Document inspections, repairs, testing, and maintenance activities accurately.
