Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in assembly or fabrication.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills/Abilities: Ability to visualize the manufacturing process and sequence of operations.
• Education/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information; US Persons only; ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Provide precise written documents to organize and direct production from design release through shipment.
• Understand CAD file outputs from Crane design packages; verify and resolve errors with Design and Manufacturing Engineering as required.
• Use CAM software to create or modify machine programs for NC equipment.
• Develop and write process planning, including operation sequences, parts lists, tooling, inspection points, and labor targets.
• Revise process planning with engineering changes and coordinate with quality control, manufacturing, production and material control.
• Plan and write new/revised work orders for tooling to support production.
• Create and maintain Oracle routings per Crane procedures.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering to develop labor estimates.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering in writing and reviewing engineering changes.
