Job summary

The role requires reading blueprints, 1+ year of related experience, and flexibility to work 2nd shift; union-represented position with pay based on CA/BA agreements and state tax credits.

Qualifications

• Read engineering blueprints, schematics and drawings.
• Can match or detect color differences, including shades and brightness.
• Able to remain steady while moving or holding arms/ hands.
• Good near-vision and detailed finger dexterity.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Willing to work 2nd shift or alternative schedules.

Responsibilities

• Mix paints to match color specifications or original colors.
• Select and apply paint per engineering documents.
• Mask, demask and prepare surfaces for painting.
• Spray or brush primers and finish coatings per planning.
• Operate spray equipment and ovens for curing.
• Ensure safety and maintain required certifications.
