Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in manufacturing with some paint-application experience.
• Experience reading shop drawings and work instructions.
• Experience operating overhead cranes.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• High school or technical school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare surfaces for painting and ensure adhesion.
• Set up fixtures for holding parts during painting.
• Mix paint and load spray equipment per guidelines.
• Perform spray tests to verify mixture and operation of equipment.
• Apply paint evenly to non-masked areas per work instructions.
• Inspect components using visual criteria and inspect coatings.
• Record information on documentation clearly and accurately.
• Operate overhead cranes in staging and preparation of components.
• Load and unload painted components into curing ovens in high-heat environments.
• Perform surface preparation such as grit blasting and masking.
• Conduct final inspection as required.
