Job summary

A leader in space exploration is seeking an Outsource Manufacturing Coordinator to manage coordination between vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of manufactured items and compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, have a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain, and must be able to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. The role is based onsite at our Houston facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production.
• Must have experience in machining practices.
• Knowledge of procurement practices and methods.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between Axiom and its vendor base.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to coordinate quotes and deliveries.
• Ensure all potential partners hold requisite certifications.
• Monitor vendor lead times and drive on‑time delivery.
