Job summary

Cimarron Software Services, Inc. is seeking an Orbital Tube Welder for our Briggs, TX facility. The role centers on fabricating complex fluid systems in a NASA/space-focused environment, collaborating with Fluid Systems Engineers to maintain the highest aerospace quality standards.

The position requires 3+ years of orbital welding, strong GTAW skills, and the ability to read 2D/3D drawings. This is a 100% onsite, full-time opportunity with shift and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on orbital welding experience.
• Ability to read aerospace 2D/3D drawings.
• Proficient in visual and borescope inspections.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, bend, face, fit, tack, and weld propulsion tubing assemblies.
• Cut, prepare, and clean tubing and fittings prior to welding.
• Perform orbital welds per AWS D17.1 and aerospace standards.
• Set up, operate, and maintain orbital welding equipment.
• Execute weld schedules across materials and sizes.
• Inspect welds and surfaces; review drawings with engineering.
• Work with QA to resolve fabrication or inspection issues.
• Handle hazardous materials and high-pressure systems safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
