Job summary

A leading aerospace components manufacturer in Yakima, WA is seeking a Production Operations Manager to oversee all production activities, ensuring the efficient operation of the facility. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of management experience in shop floor operations. Key responsibilities include business plan development, meeting OEM delivery schedules, and fostering a continuous improvement mindset. The position offers a pay range of $103,400 - $155,200 annually along with extensive benefits including medical coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in a management position with a strong, demonstrated background in shop floor operations, product flow and data analytics.
• Six Sigma or successful Lean Experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs all activities related to production operations and facility management.
• Develops and maintains operations business plans and monthly production sales forecasts.
• Ensures all OEM production deliveries are met.
• Drives a continuous improvement/lean mindset throughout the production floor.
• Works with Engineering and Program Management teams to transition products to full production.
