Job summary

RTX invites you to join the ARINC GLOBAL Network (AGN) Network Engineering internship in Annapolis, MD. You will explore design, development, testing and evaluation of network security technologies for aviation and transportation connectivity, collaborating with Corporate Security Teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience with threat analysis, secure network design, and cross-functional teamwork in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Onsite work at the Annapolis facility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
• Experience in IP Networks and network management concepts.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical member on projects with moderate to highly complex environments, utilizing high availability concepts.
• Collaborate with Engineering team to develop technical design solutions.
• Capture, analyze and decompose requirements for infrastructure security systems of moderate complexity.
• Design, develop, document, test and maintain network security systems from straightforward to moderately complex.
• Conduct threat and vulnerability analysis, risk mitigation, information assurance, and penetration testing.
• Apply security/cybersecurity methodologies to network and system design for secure services.
• Provide post-fielding support, resolving operational issues involving L2 and L3 in a multi-routing network.
• Work onsite in Annapolis, MD facility.
