LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an NDT Test Technician to perform and oversee nondestructive testing per NAS410/BSS7698 standards. The role requires setting up equipment, documenting results, and guiding junior personnel.

Training hours for certification will be pursued, with potential relocation for certification outside Washington. Candidate must have NAS410/BSS7698 Level 2 in at least one NDT method, strong reading of drawings, and a commitment to quality and safety in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Formal training in Nondestructive testing required.
• NAS410/BSS7698 Level 2 certification in at least one NDT method.
• Strong understanding of NDT principles and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Attention to detail, problem solving, and ethics.
• Strong verbal and written communication; team-oriented.
• Willing to train outside Washington to obtain NDT certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee NDT procedures per NAS410/BSS7698.
• Set up and standardize equipment; conduct system checks; document results.
• Train hours required for each method and additional training as needed.
• Familiar with codes and standards controlling the method.
• Guide trainees and Level 1 personnel; ensure safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA to address non-conformances.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement.
