Job summary

Williams International in Ogden, UT, is seeking a Non-Destructive Testing Technician for 2nd shift to conduct penetrant and ultrasonic inspections. The role ensures parts meet engineering and customer specifications and supports the flow of materials through the manufacturing cell.

You will perform a variety of NDI methods, maintain precise documentation, read blueprints, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School or GED; five years' experience in two of five NDI methods.
• At least four years' experience as Level 2 in penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, radiographic or eddy current.
• Reads, understands and interprets basic blueprint drawings.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs.; push/pull 60 lbs.; grip strength 50 lbs.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Responsible for quality and safety per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, radiographic or eddy current inspection when necessary.
• Manufacture and tests parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate and reliable documentation.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications and tolerances.
• Remove burrs and surface irregularities to meet drawing requirements.
• Maintain proper identification of parts and records.
• Communicate shift requirements to teammates with accurate information.
• Perform routine maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Keep the cellular work area clean and organized.
• Ensure continuous flow of materials and parts through the Cell.
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.
