Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Albany, OR is seeking an X-Ray Reader to perform radiographic non-destructive testing of titanium aerospace parts and to train junior readers as needed. The role requires NDT Level II certification and experience in interpreting radiographs and documenting results.

Qualifications

• Certificate of classroom training for 40 hours in Radiographic Inspection I and II is required.
• At least 1 year of experience as radiographer.
• RT, CR or DDA Level II certification or be certifiable as Digital Level II in Radiographic Testing.
• Bring radiographic training and cert documents to interview if selected.
• High School diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing using radiographic images to assess casting quality.
• Follow technique cards for radiographic inspections of castings.
• Evaluate each image for accuracy and quality.
• Visually inspect castings for improvements in casting or welding.
• Endorse radiographic reports confirming inspections were performed.
