Job summary

Qualifications

• Capable of selecting proper tools for Multi-Axis NC setup.
• Proficient reading of blueprints and specifications.
• Able to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
• Learn and navigate software, run reports, maintain records.
• Multitask and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Must read and understand shop planning and internal specs.
• Know basic shop mathematics; trig/algebra helpful.
• Proficient with shop machines, hand tools and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark and scribes dimensions for machining guides.
• Set up alignment/positioning and design improvements.
• Starts and observes machine operation for malfunctions.
• Verifies conformance of finished parts to specifications.
• Operates machine on trial runs to verify settings.
• Records entries and maintains material traceability.
• Sets up tools and fixtures to meet tolerances and finishes.
• May operate multiple machines and perform SPC as needed.
• Assist in process debugging and improvements with area leads.
• Handle all CUI information securely.
