Job summary

SOGECLAIR seeks an experienced Liaison Engineer to lead MRB activities for aircraft primary structures from its Wichita site. You will interpret engineering documents, perform technical investigations, and develop cost-effective disposition/repair strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering and at least 5 years in MRB, with preferred experience on Boeing models. You may pursue MRB delegation after on‑the‑job training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of MRB experience in a primary structure repairs environment.
• Experience with Boeing aircraft models (737/787/777) is an asset.
• Willingness to obtain Engineering MRB delegation after on-the-job training.
• Strong understanding of metallic and composite aircraft structures.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering documents and conduct technical investigations.
• Analyze each situation and develop the most cost-effective disposition/repair.
• Support NCRs and provide technical response to Quality Agents.
• Ensure conformity of repair schemes with engineering requirements and specifications.
• Support daily production and delivery activities.
• Participate in projects to increase productivity, reduce waste and improve financial performance.
• Collaborate with Systems, Stress, Thermodynamics, Materials & Processes, Propulsion, Environmental Control Systems, Logistics, Methods, Quality and Operations.
• Assist in training of junior Liaison Engineering personnel if required.
