Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in Irvine, CA seeks a Manufacturing Technician to polish and deburr metal parts, and to set up and operate hand power tools, drill presses, and basic forming equipment in an aerospace environment.

You will read and interpret technical drawings, support tube forming and bending, and share knowledge with setup personnel. Requires high school diploma, tech training, 2+ years in manufacturing/aerospace, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; forklift cert and crane operation may be

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical school training a plus.
2+ years in manufacturing/aerospace.

Responsibilities

Polish and remove burrs from metal parts using power tools and deburring tools.
Set up and operate hand power tools, drill presses, jigs, and forming equipment.
Set up, operate, and tear down machinery for tube forming, sizing, and bending.
Share knowledge with operations and setup personnel and assist in productivity improvements.
