Onboard Systems International is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to support the production team in Vancouver, WA onsite. The role involves assembling, tearing down, and rebuilding mechanical aerospace components per plans and documentation. It is a physical position requiring dexterity and familiarity with hand tools.

Qualifications include basic mechanical skills and at least 1 year of related experience. A pre-employment drug screen is required; FAA testing may apply for roster roles.

Responsibilities

• Assemble or repair mechanical aerospace components per drawings and documentation.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of finished goods.
• Bead-blasting or secondary processes for CNC components as needed.
• Disassemble, clean, and inspect components for repair.
• Assist shipping by handling international shipments per regulations.
• Support QC by inspecting products using basic hand tools.
• Operate the computerized parts pulling machine.
