Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics Elyria, OH is seeking a Material Handler Trainee for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30am-3:00pm). You will manage incoming material, verify counts, stock items, and support packaging and shipping activities while ensuring accurate inventory and adherence to procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma, basic reading and math skills, and a certified lift truck operator. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and read blueprints is expected.

Qualifications

• Education/experience requirement: high school diploma; basic reading and math skills.
• Blueprints, detail sheets, and manufacturing outlines reading ability.
• Lift truck certification required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, count, inspect, and stock incoming material.
• Verify quantities and paperwork; prepare shipments and assign storage.
• Move parts using appropriate handling tools; assist inspectors as needed.
• Maintain inventory records and report shortages or defects.
