Job summary

NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California seeks a Material Control Administrator II to oversee end-to-end procurement for EEE parts and related services for flight and institutional projects.

You will review requests, process PRs and P-Card transactions, coordinate with Acquisition Subcontract Managers, PPEs, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant procurement while meeting cost and schedule objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of related procurement experience or Master’s with 1 year.
• Experience in purchasing parts, materials, or supplies.
• Strong understanding of high-reliability components for space/aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Review procurement requests and obtain information for EEE parts and services.
• Prepare and process PRs, P-Card transactions, and procurement docs.
• Coordinate with managers, vendors, and project staff to meet schedules.
• Track procurement status and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with requirements.
• Support Return Material Authorization (RMA) activities.
