Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking Manufacturing Technician Interns for a 10 Week Fall Internship, located on-site in Chandler, AZ, with a 1st Shift schedule (6:00AM - 3:30PM). The role offers hands-on work with engineers, set-up and calibration, and potential conversion to full-time based on performance and budget.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a community college or trade school, available for 10 weeks, and have basic tool skills, reading measurements, and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• Be a student enrolled in a community college or technical trade school.
• Be available to work full time for at least 10 weeks.
• Ability to work with hand tools with fine motor skills.
• Able to read, interpret and record measurements.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing operations with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks.
• Use work instructions, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
• Potentially assemble aerospace cables/harnesses to specifications and/or work with composites.
• Use programs to collect and evaluate operating data for on-line adjustments.
• Develop methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
