Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support product development and process improvement at its Irvine, CA location. You will analyze production data and offer solutions while working within a collaborative team.

This role demands proficiency in mechanical engineering principles, a commitment to continuous improvement, and an ability to communicate technical information effectively. CAD experience, particularly with SolidWorks, is preferred. Offered compensation ranges between $21 to $23 USD hourly.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related fields.
• Ability to read documents such as safety rules, instructions, blueprints, and manuals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to prepare and deliver technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data and develop solutions for identified trends.
• Provide process control systems including instructions, data collection, and feedback loops.
• Investigate Root Cause and develop corrective actions.
