Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • 4+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with aerospace production and quality processes.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations by addressing production and quality issues on the shop floor.
  • Investigate, document, and disposition nonconforming materials, including rework, repair, scrap, and concession activities.
  • Maintain and update production and quality documentation within SAP, ensuring accurate records for manufacturing activities.
  • Review, revise, and improve manufacturing work instructions, process documentation, and verification plans to support production requirements.
  • Document and communicate quality concerns, customer feedback, and manufacturing findings to cross-functional teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tooling, manufacturing methods, and production processes to increase efficiency and product quality.
