Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an onsite, 6+ month contract in Saint Augustine, Florida. You will review aircraft design requirements for manufacturability and translate them into clear manufacturing work instructions, partnering with design and production teams to define build processes and tooling.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in manufacturing engineering (or a STEM master/PhD), ability to read drawings and BOM, and experience with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in manufacturing engineering or advanced degree as stated.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
Experience with NX/CATIA or other 3D CAD systems; knowledge of BOM and manufacturing docs.

Responsibilities

Review aircraft design requirements for manufacturability and translate to work instructions.
Collaborate with Design, Production, Tool Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Quality to define build processes and tooling.
Develop and maintain manufacturing engineering documentation including work instructions and BOMs.
