Job summary

Center Industries in Wichita, KS is seeking an Aerospace Manufacturing Customer Service Representative. You will act as the main customer point of contact via phone, email, and in person, ensuring on-time deliveries and accurate pricing and lead times.

The role requires strong Excel skills, solid data entry, and the ability to coordinate with purchasing, planning, quality assurance, and production to maintain schedules and resolve invoice discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years' experience with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates via phone, email and in person with customer as main point of contact for customer service needs.
  • Verifies customer pricing and lead times with estimating.
  • Reviews documents that include, but are not limited to; purchase orders, job orders, bill of materials, specs, drawings, etc to support on time customer deliveries and metrics.
  • Coordinates with purchasing, planning, materials, quality assurance, production and other departments as needed to ensure all production supplies and raw materials are available and accounted for, in a timely manner.
  • Communicates schedules to all internal departments and external customers as needed utilizing spreadsheets, electronic communication, and verbal communication.
  • Works with accounting on invoice discrepancies.

Job Details: Job Location: Wichita, KS 67217, Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00 Hourly, Aerospace Manufacturing Customer Service Representative

Shift: 1st- 7am - 3:30pm

Salary Range: $22 $24 per hour with three scheduled wage increases the first year.

SUMMARY:

Responsible for communicating with assigned customer via phone, email and in person in relation to customer service needs. Monitors production schedules and expedites the flow of materials and parts through production areas to ensure on-time delivery for external and internal customers. Promotes and utilizes standard safety practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Communicates via phone, email and in person with customer as main point of contact for customer service needs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years' experience with Microsoft Excel
