Job summary

Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar is seeking a Logistics Specialist to handle receiving, order picking, and shipment of products. The role involves forklift operation, packing materials selection, and detailed record-keeping in a manufacturing setting for aerospace components.

The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work a flexible schedule, and good verbal and written communication skills. Compensation includes health benefits and opportunities for growth in a specialized aviation

Qualifications

• Familiar with or proficient in Word, Excel, and keyboarding.
• Experience in the use of hand and power tools such as hammer, drills, nail and staple guns, etc.
• Approved training in forklift operation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments of incoming materials.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Select appropriate packaging materials per customer requirements.
• Route outgoing shipments through various means of transportation.
• Complete paperwork such as customs invoices, bills of lading, barcode labels, job pick lists and manufacturing orders.
• Pull parts from stores and finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and traceability of lot numbers.
• Maintain shipment history files.
• Interface with Purchasing, Production Control, Program Management and Scheduling to ensure timely material movement.
• Supports Management as directed.
• Performs part marking and over-coating using MO instructions, Blueprints and Desktop Instructions.
• Adheres to all safety guidelines and trade compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
