AAR in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Kitting Assembler to prepare and manage aircraft integration and monument installation kits for production. You will verify contents against drawings and BOMs, label and organize materials, and coordinate with supply chain and production to ensure timely readiness.

Responsibilities include receiving, counting, inspecting, and maintaining kit accuracy, while supporting production schedules and safety compliance.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills to access production and inventory systems.
• Able to read and comprehend engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Strong attention to detail and counting/labeling materials.
• Able to follow written, verbal and scheduled instructions.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• One year aerospace manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience using ERP or inventory planning systems preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare, stage, organize, and maintain kits for projects.
• Verify kit contents against drawings, BOMs, and data.
• Identify shortages and communicate discrepancies to leads.
• Label and organize hardware and materials for traceability.
• Assist with receiving, counting, inspecting, and verifying materials.
• Maintain kit accuracy and material status throughout production.
• Complete inventory transactions and paperwork in systems.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Planning, Engineering, QA, and Production.
• Perform limited bench assembly or rework on installation kits when instructed.
• Support assembly leads in meeting production schedules and constraints.
• Keep kitting areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Comply with safety, quality, and company policies; use PPE.
• Support cycle counts and continuous improvement in kitting efficiency.
