Aerotek in Middletown, CT seeks a Kitter to support aerospace manufacturing by verifying documentation and performing kitting tasks. The role includes moving materials with push carts or pallet jacks, using a computer to validate inventory, and updating work orders in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, labeling, and preparing boxes for shipment, plus assisting with inventory tasks and safe handling of materials.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with inventory systems to validate data and update orders.
• Ability to read and write English to interpret work orders and docs.
• 2+ years of material handling in aerospace or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify paperwork, orders, and shipping instructions before processing.
• Kit, organize, assemble, and prepare parts per work orders.
• Use a computer to validate product info, track inventory, and update orders.
• Pack and label boxes for shipment and prepare items for shipping.
• Support shipping/receiving, loading and unloading as needed.
• Move materials safely using push carts/pallet jacks around the facility.
• Assist with inventory tasks such as counting and tracking materials.
• Follow procedures to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Communicate clearly with team members and other departments.
