Job summary

Senra Systems, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Lead Technician to drive high-quality harness manufacturing on the production floor in California.

You will lead a small team, provide technical direction, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence. You'll build aerospace harness assemblies, demonstrate techniques to apprentices, inspect in-process hardware, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to improve processes and output.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years as a technician in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to read complex wire harness schematics and determine order of operations.
• Knowledge of soldering, wire stripping, contact crimping, and harness routing techniques.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, work orders, and BOM structures.
• Strong communication to engage cross-functional teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously build electrical harness assemblies for aerospace and defense customers.
• Provide technical and operational direction to team to meet quality and schedule.
• Demonstrate techniques to apprentices.
• Inspect hardware in-process for conformance to specifications.
• Maintain daily task checklists and assign work per production schedule.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to support production operations.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to improve manufacturability and output.
